    Halo Wars DE early access x-play support


    Does the Halo Wars Definitive Edition (early access) support x-play on their servers between the Xbox One and Windows 10 platforms? I have it loaded on both and was hoping to coop-campaign on my PC with my son on the Xbox One. I've heard Halo Wars 2 is not
    planning on supporting this but does that hold true for HWHalo Wars DE early access x-play support :DE too? Just trying to get a definitive answer. Google/Bing searches and Game FAQ's do not seem to address this. I've also realized that Play Anywhere has been a little misleading thus far in that
    it only means the game can be played on multiple platforms but does not necessarily permit people on differing MS platforms to participate on the same game servers (grrr...argh!).

    I pre-ordered my Halo Wars 2 Ultimate edition of the game before 12/20 and have yet to received my code for early access for halo wars de and the nice people on xbox chat told me to come and post here

    Halo Wars Definitive Edition Code is Late

    It says on Halo Waypoint anyone that bought it before the 14th gets Halo Wars DE on the 20th.

    actually there is no unlimited codes and no they aren't pregenerated

    One they are generated in waves as stated by the faq on halo.waypiint you will have to wait youe turn in the waves

    2ndnthisnis to prevent spamming the servers which can lead to long queuesnyou would.still be waiting weeks to download when it's not busy

    They stagger the release to prevent long queues you arengoingnto.hace to wait

    The ultimate is mostly for the early access to halo Wars 2

    Halo and Gears of War are 2 major exclusives, plus early access to Call of Duty map packs. If you don't like them, it doesn't mean other people don't. Plenty of people buy xboxes just to play Halo & Gears.

    Still No Definitive Edition Code

    halo wars 2 ultimate edition includes Halo wars DE. You should be able to find and download the game under ready to install on my games and apps on your xbox one!

    On PC check the Halo app or the Download and install page on the store!

    It says I already own the game but I get stuck in an endless cycle of "You already own this game" to "Available only as part of a bundle./Not sold seperately"

    On my Xbox there is no option for Halo Wars Definitive Edition in the ready to install list.

    On PC in the Halo app, the definitive edition is listed as "Buy Now".

    I've double checked my order history and to make sure I got the Ultimate Edition and I did get to play Halo Wars 2 a few days early with that bundle.
