    Halo Wars: DE - Cross Platform Discussion/Feedback


    I'd like to play Halo Wars: Definitive Edition with my friends, however the game is not cross platform. The following are a list of suggestions, thoughts?:

    -Consider creating an option/playlist, separated from other gamemodes, where a PC player can search for games with both Xbox players and PC players in it (unranked at the very least).

    -Allow me to launch this game through Steam, because lets face it, most, if not all PC gamers use Steam. Tabbing out of this game is annoying.

    -I dont receive any party invites from my friends on console while i'm on PC - fix this?

    Halo Wars DE removed from Halo Wars 2 Ultimate Edition Bundle

    Hi, I own Halo Wars 2 Ultimate Edition, and it included Halo Wars DE, but yesterday when I launched Halo Wars DE, it popped out an error code 0x803F8001, so uninstalled it and try to download again, but turns out it removed from my library and when I check
    my Ultimate Edition bundle, Halo Wars DE now cost me HKD $119.

    I don't know what is happening.

    Hello!

    You are not alone with this issue. I have the same problem and posted about it here.

    I still haven't got it, but it helps to know that it's a common problem.

    As far as I understand it, we should have two versions of both Halo Wars 1 and 2, one for XBox One (the one not suppored on this device) and one for Windows.

    For some reason, Halo Wars 2 is correctly activated for both platforms, but Halo Wars 1 is not.

    Bug- Cross platform thread     has a lot of feedback from everyone and is a good play to gather for updates. We will be changing it into a discussion and providing information there.
