    So with the recent decisions by Microsoft to cancel the Halo Wars 2: Ultimate Edition Physical release in all areas except for Europe, Amazon cancelled all non-European preorders for the game. I have had the game preordered since the Physical Edition was
    announced because I wanted the sweet Boxed Set. Now Amazon has force canceled my preorder because I live in the States. I now am forced to get a digital preorder if I want the Play Anywhere support, but this means that all this time I have lost out on getting
    the Halo Wars DE access code because of a decision by the company producing the game? I was fine waiting previously as I was getting the sick Boxed Edition, plus 20 Dollars off through Amazon Prime's Physical Edition preorder bonus. Now I Have to pay 20
    dollars more for the same product I had already bought, but lose the sick physical box, and cannot access the DE Code until AFTER the launch of the game? (As compared to it being Boxed WITH the physical edition meaning I would be getting it sooner at this
    point if MS didn't cancel all the Physical editions in the US) I don't understand what's the logic behind all this but it's such a turnoff, I just want to play the stupid game.

    When did you redeem the code provided by Amazon? Once you redeem the code for Halo Wars 2, you should receive a code for Halo Wars DE within 7-10 days.

    Did you preorder a physical copy of Halo Wars 2 Ultimate Edition or digital copy? If it's a physical copy, your code for the Halo Wars: Definitive Edition will be in the box for Halo Wars 2. If you preordered a digital copy, you'll get a code for the Halo
    Wars DE copy to your Xbox Live message center 7-10 days after redeeming your code.

    Codes for Halo Wars: Definitive Edition are no longer sent out for purchases of Halo Wars 2: Ultimate Edition. Now, anyone that purchases Halo Wars 2: Ultimate Edition digitally will automatically receive the game digitally. Try checking your Windows Store
    library (or your 'Ready to install' list on Xbox One) to see if the game shows up there! Be sure that you are signed into the account that originally redeemed the code, as well.

    To find your library on the Windows Store, click your profile picture in the upper left corner of the screen within the Windows Store. Keep us posted!
    I can see Halo Wars DE in my Windows Store library, however trying to install it gives an error once it tries to acquire a license (error code is 0x803F8001). I have already had a lengthy chat session with support over that error, and they said the error
    was due to my not having a license for Halo Wars DE, and that I had to come here to get the code for Halo Wars DE sent to me.
