Halo Wars D.E Code help

Hi, I placed my pre-order through amazon since I get a discount for the ultimate edition because of prime and was told I would get my code within the time frame of 3-7 days but then later called to check on the ETA and was told that the codes for the Halo
Wars DE would be released on the same day as the game itself. I spoke to see if I microsoft would be able to help me in that end since I was looking foward to playing halo wars early but now a support member told me to pre-order the game through here which
I did but now I'm wondering if I would be able to get my code early instead of having to wait 7 days again.
