Halo Wars 2 updated and now won’t work.

My Xbox One X did an update today, and then updated Halo Wars 2.

Now when i play the game it runs very slowly and stops working when you choose the training or to start a game. Menus are there, music is gorgeous, game wont start.

Any help you could offer to remedy this?

I highly recommend following the troubleshooting steps here:

After each step please try to see if the issue is fixed!

First, please select System > Settings > account > remove accounts and then select your account and select Remove to confirm.

If the issue persists, please select Settings > Network > Network settings > Advanced settings > Alternate Mac address : CLEAR > Restart.

Then, hold down the power button for about 10 seconds, until the console shuts off, then unplug the power cord and wait for 2 to 3 minutes before plugging it back in and turn on the Xbox.

If the issue persists, please select System > Settings > devices and streaming > blue ray > persistent storage > clear three times > restart console.

If you are still encountering the same issue, please select System > Settings > System > Console info > Select Reset console > Choose Reset and keep my games and apps.

Note =>The "Reset and Keep my Games and Apps" option will not cause losing your games, but please be aware that you need to be completely aware of the email address as well as the password of your account before going for it because it will require you to sign in to the account.

I'm having similar issue. An update came out for Halo Wars 2. I tried to download it. After 2 attempts, the original install from months ago (I purchased pre-order when it came out), deleted itself and I had to install the full game again, about 43 GB. For
over 2 weeks now I have tried to download Halo Wars 2 again to no avail. Other games download perfectly, but Halo Wars 2 will not download - keep getting down load error code.

Basically everything I tried to download work fine, except for halo wars 1

Update: Halo Wars 1 works now! I didn't do anything so I gues Microsoft did something on their end
