Halo Wars 2 Stuck at "Halo" Loading Screen

My PC meets and goes beyond all the specifications required for the game, but for some reason it stays stuck at the "Halo" loading screen. I purchased and downloaded it from the Microsoft Store and have installed it on my main drive. I am using Windows 10.

have you tried re-installing the game?

I was getting this as well. The one that finally fixed it for me was uninstalling the Halo app.

I was just clicking on any results for "Halo Wars 2 Stuck On Halo Screen" and I came across a post on Halo Waypoint that mentioned that the Halo App is no longer supported... from some random user. Kinda ridiculous that there's not any official mention of
the Halo app causing problems, besides the reviews on the Microsoft store. However, I had not even suspected the Halo app, because I had forgotten I even had it installed. It was sheer luck I found the answer from someone else, I could've easily still been
stuck in this situation lol.

and the response saying its no longer supported is from July this year... and at the end of the thread there is a monitor saying don't revive old topics smh.
