Halo Wars 2+Play Everywhere+Xbox Family=???

I'm currently in the **** hole we call Microsoft Family on the houses only Xbox One. My main question is, If the Xbox's Parent Pre-Orders Halo Wars 2 Ultimate Edition. Will I, a member of the Xbox'x Family, be able to utilize the Play everywhere
system on my Windows 10 PC to play Halo Wars 2. Side question, does the Halo Wars DE code come in on the parent account only. And if possible, could someone reply a screenshot of what the message looks like and where to find it. If there are any complicated
loop holes, I'll be glad to utilize them.

Halo Wars 2 trouble

I bought an xbox one that came with a disc copy of halo wars 2 ultimate edition and a digital copy of halo wars definitive edition. On the windows store, it says that I own halo wars definitive edition and all of halo wars 2's dlc, yet it does not give me
the option to download halo wars 2 on pc. I thought halo wars 2 was an xbox play anywhere game? Do I have to have it fully installed on the xbox for it to work?

Have not gotten Halo Wars Definitive Edition code with Halo Wars 2: Ultimate Edition code

I bought Halo Wars 2: Ultimate edition on a prepaid card at my local Walmart and was told the Halo Wars Definitive Edition code would arrive in 7-10 days. its 20 days later and still no code. i even checked everywhere i had an Xbox account linked to make
sure i wasn't being stupid. Plz help

The account that purchases the game will be able to access the game on PC via Play Anywhere. So if that is the account that is buying the game is the parent account, then yes, that account would be able to utilize the game on PC. The Halo Wars DE code would
go to the account that makes the purchase as well. The code should be sent via Live message about 7-10 days after the purchase. You can view your messages either on the top left of this website by clicking on your name and going to messages, through the Xbox
app, or on the console. If you don't receive the code after 10 days, you'll want to post in the Sales and Promotions app so support can get it to you.

Epic Louie

Halo Wars and Halo 2 are the only Halo titles I've never played. I wouldn't mind playing an HD remake of Halo 2 if it came to the Xbox One.
