Halo Wars 2 Online Service Problems

Ive just got the game in the sale from the xbox one store and was really looking forward to playing online but I have not yet been able to connect! what happens is I start the game and get to the main menu then it displays a message saying "Error disconnected
from the halo wars 2 online services" about 5 seconds after that I get a message saying "Alert connected to halo wars 2 online services" then another 5 seconds pass and it displays the first message and another 5 seconds it displays the second message. It
is just stuck in a loop. Ive tried speaking to xbox support live chat and they told me to do a hard reset and I did but the problem still continues. Next the support told me to contact the company that makes the game, I cant find a way to do that. I was just
hoping for some information if its something like a server problem or a simple fix, maybe even waiting for a game update. please can someone help?

I definitely support Halo Wars 2 since I am a big fan of the online strategy game. Quality strategy games are few and far between. Halo Wars has intense core support. There are ALWAYS at least 6000 people playing Halo Wars. Halo Wars is a modern version
of Chess but it is much more interesting and fun than Chess.

Halo 2 MP without question. Most fun I've ever had with an online shooter on consoles.

And sadly Halo Wars is the best Halo to some out on the 360.

It gets a bit complicated. If you have Gamepass then all should instal. The console will allow you to have Halo 5: Guardian, Halo Wars 2, Halo Wars De, Halo Spartan Assault and Halo MCC installed. The PC allows Halo CE, Halo, Halo Forge, Halo Wars 2,
Halo Wars DE, Halo Wars Spartan Assault, Halo Wars Spartan Strike and Halo MCC to be installed.

As for paying vs. free, the Microsoft Store should handle that. It might need resetting using a cmd prompt at admin level of wsreset. It takes a bit.

I have had to uninstall and redownload MCC to get it to capture all, but it works!
