Halo Wars 2 not launching on my pc

I have a ROG Zephyrus (not too sure if that matters, but I figured I should add it) and Halo Wars 2 will not launch. It just brings up the grey launch screen and shows "Halo". Any way I can fix this?

First uninstall the Halo app from your PC. Games still try to launch through it even though it was discontinued a long time ago, causing the game to crash.

no...halo 4 is the 9th?. you're forgetting the pc versions of halo ce and halo 2

Only halo wars and halo wars 2.

In other games, everything is fine.

PC, windows 10.
