Q: When does Halo Wars 2 release?

A: The face off with Atriox begins on February 21, 2017 on both Xbox One and Windows 10 PC.



Q: What's this I hear about early access? How do I get that?

A: If you preordered the Ultimate Edition of Halo Wars 2, you will be able to access the game 4 days early - starting on February 17, 2017



Q: How can I buy this game?

A: You can purchase the regular edition or the Ultimate Edition directly from the Xbox store. You can also check out your local retailer if you prefer.



Q: Is there a physical copy for the Windows 10 version of the game?

A: Yes, a physical release will be made available exclusively for customers in Europe..



Q: What do I get if I pre-order this cool game?

A: Well, that depends on where you pre-order from!

Q: Is Halo Wars 2 a Play Anywhere title?

A: If you buy the game digitally through the Xbox store, you will be able to play the game on both your Xbox One and Windows 10 machine. Those that are in Europe and buy the PC physical edition will also be given a code for the digital version
of the game which renders it a Play Anywhere title as well.



Q: What are the PC specs I'll need to be able to get my RTS on in Halo Wars 2?

A: The minimum specs required are:

• 64-bit Windows 10 Anniversary Edition
• DirectX 12 (Feature Level 11)
• Intel i5-2500 or AMD FX-4250

Q: Does Halo Wars 2 on Windows 10 support the use of multiple GPUs?

A: Multiple GPU's are not supported at this time. The game will run with the performance of a single GPU. We will be adding this feature in the future!

Q: Is Halo Wars 2 cross play compatible?

A: No, there is no cross play compatibility. PC players will play with PC players, console players with other console players.



Q: What's this "Blitz Mode" I keep hearing about?

A: Blitz is a new mode that's a twist on the traditional RTS style gameplay. Think of it as a combination of card-based strategy games and RTS. Here's a quick Blitz 101 rundown.



Q: That seems cool! Is that going to be PvP or PvE?

A: Blitz will have both options. "Blitz Firefight" will be the PvE version.



Q: How many leaders can I choose from for Halo Wars 2?

A: The game launches with 6 leaders - each with unique strategies and cards. Additionally, ever gamer will see the option to download Sergeant Forge for the low, low price of free!
