    Halo wars 2 crashes after the start screen


    Hi everyone ive tried everything and the halo wars 2 game keeps crashing at the beginning of the screen what can i do i bought a new pc and still a go.......ive even got a my account banned wich i dont get how since ive only played the game 4 times and thats
    the only microsoft game i own please help i tried support but nobody ever answers me about my account or the game....

    After recent update Halo Wars 2 crashes

    After the latest update on PC halo wars crashes on campaign start up screen.

    It was also crash at the end of multiplayer matches.

    Not sure what is going on, I know it took 4 attempts to download the update from the Microsoft store.

    No problems with the game before the update.

    There are several reasons why Windows Store, Xbox App, Halo 5 Forge or Halo wars 2 will crash on start up. Have you attempted any troubleshooting steps yet?

    Fair warning the Halo wars 2 beta is a bit laggy and will sometimes crash. Just a heads up.

    Do a search for just Halo Wars 2. In the results it should show "Halo Wars 2: Demo, Halo Wars 2, Halo Wars 2: Standard Edition" Try clicking the one in the middle and see if that one will start the install for you. I noticed if I choose the standard edition
    it wants to install on the console.

    Yes, when I trouble shoot it says Windows Store cache may be damaged, if I try to clear the cache it says "ms-windows-store:purgeCaches, the app didn't start".
