Halo: The master Chief collection

Delighted to be able to play Halo 3 again with the 'proper' Halo engine and not some 'updated Reach' engine crap that was added to the Halo Anniversary MP.

Now correct me if I am wrong, but this has an over weaving story line right? I got from the trailer that people were looking into Master Chiefs past in the cutscene (including that new spartan like character). Am I right there?

 

I got the impression that someone from the future was recalling the events from the past

 

^ Yeah, apparently its Agent Locke - the mysterious character revealed in the Halo 5 trailer and focus of the upcoming tv show

 

Strife everything in the Haloverse has a weaving story thats whats so great about it for me. Even the books intertwine the storys at times.

Don't go too much by what you saw in the E3 CGI clip as the H4 teaser was never in the game. It "looks to me" like Mendicant Bias will enlist the help of a Spartan (Agent Clarke a.ka. Marlowe (who will be main person in Halo Nightfall)) to track, trace
and take Master Chief to where they want him to be as he "has in his past, our future". As usual with Halo that can mean any one of thousand different things.

It could be what the Didact done to him. It could be Cortanas broken chip, it could be access Halsey or a follow MC, get Halsey, (and Jul Mdama into the bargin) scenario.

The terminals we will get in H2A and H3 will reveal more about Halo: Guardians story as the terminals always have in Halo if you knew to look at them.

Be interesting to see if they start another
ARG as I enjoyed those as much as playing the games

Only reason I will buy MCC is to watch all the terminals they have added / updated.

Fits thanks mate, I have no idea about the haloverse outside of the games other than a brief discussion about the books over in another forum section a while back. I will take it with a pinch of salt bro either way, I'm very excited for it and I am looking
forward to legendary on all 4 again!

Daft and Hog, that's how I saw it. Someone from the future, it seems intriguing enough though even if there is no weaving, I will be happy with just a selection screen for the games but it would be sweet if they added a back story to it or even a secret
cutscene for legendary completing all 4!

I watched it yesterday and it did actually make me think I will probably buy it. To be honest though Fits it was shot on a camera phone and wasnt great quality but still worth a watch.
