Halo: The Master Chief Collection to be bundled with Xbox One for free

EDIT - This one is minus Kinect! the original bundle had Kinect included

 

It's about time.....

(Not a rant,just happy to see a new Xbox one bundle).

 

I would like to start off by saying I have been a LOYAL customer of MS for the last 10 years and have spent hundreds of dollars on games and services and this totally a slap in the face. I was forced to purchase the console back in Nov 2013 and paid the
premium price of $499.99. Now months and months later after a dozen or so free games and over a year of playing on this console, MS decides to sell it with a game at a lower price minus something I have and use everyday. THIS IS UNFAIR.. MS should compensate
me by giving me 12 months of Live and a large pizza with sausage. The last 15 months I played this console are not worth a free game. Who cares if I already have 7 free games and not counting the 7 EA free games I get with EA access...

This is great news! Whenever a console comes with a digital code for a game, a bunch end up on ebay and other places online for dirt cheap. Looks like a digital HMCC for $10-$15 will soon be a reality.

 

I don't see the excitement for this. If it was a custom X1 with a Halo theme...sure. It seems to be the standard black X1 with a digital download code in a fancy box. Do people get excited for boxes?

I think this is good news, what better way to come onto the Xbox one with 4 awesome games.

 

I don't know if it will entice people to buy a console with the game being broken for so long. Of course the multiplayer is fixed now but people don't forget.

 

Its Halo people will buy it. I bought the game on release and had just as much fun playing through the campaigns that I have with the multiplayer now while waiting for the multiplayer to get fixed. I actually played the MP for the first significant amount
of time last night and had a blast doing it.

 

@Auswulf.... do you really think that gamers hold grudges when a game is released with some issues??? Especially after it has been repaired????

 

You will be surprised on how many people are still peed off about it. People really do hold grudges. You should see the hate filled comments on Facebook.

 

Either way it could go the other way. They could catch the hype train with halo 5 and forgive.

 

Halo MCC is still broken after many repairs, it's just not worth it as a new product yet. A bundle is a good idea and an easier way to get rid of stock, however it makes me think they've given up on fixing it.

 

Walmart already has that bundle
