    Hello,

    I would be great if you can answer this, below, for me, please.

    I am a halo Fan since 2004 and I just purchased the Master Chief Collection in the Microsft Store, on my PC.

    And as I am planning to buy a new gaming console either The Xbox Series or the Rival, before taking any decision, I would like to know if I can access my purchase in the Xbox series to play it there, without having the need to purchase it again.

    For me it makes no sense to buy it again since the Miscrost Store is the same everywhere and I would not understand it if I was asked to buy it again. If your answer is that I would need to buy it again, unfortunately I will need to look else where for a
    new Console.

    Hi, the version of odst you purchased, was it the xbox one version for Halo the Master chief collection or the Xbox 360 version of the game? If it was the Master Chief collection version, then you need the master chief Collection installed on your Xbox
    One to be able to download the game.

    Huge Halo fan here, I would just get the Master Chief Collection.

    Halo 3: ODST was fun with a group of people and the campaign was okay, but overall I found it to be an unnecessary addition to the series. You can definitely skip it.

    Halo: Reach is my least favorite of the Halo series, but the story was good. It's a prequel to the rest of the series so playing it before the Master Chief Collection might help things make more sense story wise, but you don't have to play it to understand
    Master Chief's story. It's not a MUST HAVE, but pick it up if you really want a bit more insight into the story.

    Personally, I think you'll be fine with the Master Chief Collection. Halo: CE, Halo 2, and Halo 3 are some of my favorite FPS games of all time and Master Chief is just simply awesome. Halo 4 was a great addition to the series and I have faith that 343 Industries
    is on the right track, the series is in good hands. I'm really excited for Halo 5: Guardians!!

    Since the library shows other games you did not purchase, I would recommend checking if you are using the correct account which contains Halo: The Master Chief Collection. However, please keep in mind that the Halo: The Master Chief Collection is currently available on Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One .

    Thank you for confirming. Halo: Combat Evolved does require Halo: The Master Chief Collection in order to play. Combat Evolved acts as an add-on of sorts for the Master Chief Collection. You will need the full purchase of the Master Chief Collection in order to own all the titles within the package.
