Halo the Master Chief Collection Multiplayer Matchmaking not working

I try to find a game but it never finds it. when will the matchmaking be fixed this is a disgrace. first I had destiny multiplayer problems kicking me from games and then sign in problems and now this. The Xbox 360 was way better than the Xbox one. It is
a load of rubbish. For every good game they bring out they are going to have servers down. Microsoft is just bad. disappointed customer.

How can 343 release Halo Master Chief Collection without the multiplayer not working for the vast majority of players is beyond me.

 

Trouble finding a match

Sir you are in the same place I am, you bought the game (I bought an Xbox One for this reason only) and I am sorry to inform you that the game is 100% broken and matchmaking isn't happening.

It's not just you my friend.

I got suckered into buying an Xbox One just because of this game after I saw an ad on TV at the gym.

No disclaimer that the game is broken.

They are pushing a bad product to sell their system and once you crack the box you're stuck because most places will not give you a refund on an open video game console or game.

Plus I spent the money for Xbox Gold just go online to play this.

I have a thread going btw, I am opening the can of worms to get a class action lawsuit going.

I just got the game and have been lucky if I have been able to play a dozen or so matches. I have even gone back to my 360 and using matchmaking on Reach because a 20 minute wait time to connect to a game on Master chief is just too long when I want to get
blown up 10 times by homicidal maniacs lol.

I hope they fix the servers soon

 

Well known problem with everyone. Very frustrating indeed. Luckily the co-op campaigns work very well.

 

According to 343 Industries, there is an update that went live on 11/26 that is supposed to help with matchmaking and other problems. So I guess we should stop badgering Microsoft and turn our attention to 343 who apparently is the ones having the problems.

Wait times have improved but there's still issues with creating fair teams and getting back to the lobby after the game. I played a BTB game this morning that was 9 on 5

 

So... I preorder the digital download version and just a few minutes ago I got my very first game.

Unfortunately, it was a 4 on 2 lagfest. WHAT THE ***!

I feel like $70 was stolen from me. Halo MCC and Halo 5 were the main factors involved in me buying an Xbox One in the first place. So its really like I was duped out of $570.

 

I really don't know why they will not enforce team balance and just turn on the dedicated servers so we don't have to play on peer to peer. It's very annoying but they seem to have some reasoning behind it. Don't ask me what that reason is though..

 

Game is the textbook definition of disappointment.

No dedicated servers like they advertised, wasn't bug tested at all, matchmaking takes 12 years, and they still can't fix anything.
