    Halo: The Master Chief Collection, "DLC not installed" issue.


    Hey,

    Recently been having an issue with Halo: The Master Chief Collection on PC.

    I have downloaded the game through my Xbox app on Windows 10. I download the game as normal but whenever I launch the game and try to play any of the games, there's a prompt in game telling me "DLC missing, _____ is not installed, would you like to install it?".

    I have the option to press yes and install DLC, but nothing happens. I've seen several posts with this same issue, but haven't really seen any fixes to the issue. All game files seem to be in order, the base game at 152GB approx is downloaded, along with all the licensing files for the various Halo games.

    Here's what I've tried so far;
    -Reinstalled game, several times.
    -I even reinstalled Windows...
    -Tried repairing the game files through Win+I and going to advanced settings in apps, no luck there either.
    -Double checked and manually installed all the 10MB "DLC" files for the Halo games through Microsoft store.

    Hoping someone has suggestions, because I'm out of ideas. Might be easier to just sell my PC and get rid of my problems that way.

    XBox1 playing discs, not online

    Halo Reach is not on the Master Chief Collection disc, only the Halo CE, 2, 3 & 4 are. If you want to play Halo reach, then you can purchase the dlc for the Master Chief Collection or download the Backward Compatible version.

    Hi, the version of odst you purchased, was it the xbox one version for Halo the Master chief collection or the Xbox 360 version of the game? If it was the Master Chief collection version, then you need the master chief Collection installed on your Xbox
    One to be able to download the game.

    You have to have Halo The Master Chief Collection installed on your console as the game Halo Reach was an add on for that game collection.
