    Halo Reach won't launch or be recognized as installed


    After spending hours installing the Halo Master Chief Collection and Halo Reach, I go to launch Halo Reach, nothing happens.

    I click the MCC, it launches, I see the "easy anti-cheat" window load, then the opening cinematic plays, it then closes or crashes where the Halo Reach Microsoft app page is opened and says I need to install Halo Reach.

    Problem is, it IS installed. I click the "Intall" button and it instantly says "complete".

    I've gone to the MCC settings, repaired it. Same issue.

    I've reset the game from the menu. Same issue

    I would try to uninstall and try again but the button is grayed out and wont let me.

    I've restarted my computer, same issues.

    Please assist me, I do not wish to refund this game.

    I have the latest windows updates and graphics drivers.

    Windows 10 Pro

    I had the same issue - this is what I did:

    Uninstall the xbox app version

    Install the windows store version

    Open the app

    Wait for it to connect with my account

    Then play

    I had to uninstall and reinstall it then it worked fine.

    Where it says press enter to start, it pops up with “unable to continue, the content is currently installing.” Even though I have already downloaded halo reach. When i try and launch it from the microsoft store nothing happens, there is no response from

    Try to uninstall the game hard reset your xbox reinstall......this worked for me first time
