Halo Reach vs Halo 4?

So I've just picked up a 360 that comes with ODST and I've always enjoyed the Halo series. Out of Reach and 4 which has the better multiplayer community? and while we are at it, is Halo 3 still active?

a little weird posting this here since it looks like CoD is somewhat rival of halo reach, and almost everyone here will say: "we play reach cause it doesnt have killstreaks or you dont die on 2 shots like on MW"

and please lets not make this into a call of duty vs halo reach thread

Hi. Halo 3 is still active. My personal opinion is that Halo Reach is totally better. Halo 4 strays from the Halo series in and of itself. I expect the same for Halo 5: Guardians.

 

No you're wrong. Halo 4 is a much better game than Reach.

 

That's an opinion, and by the way Halo 4 is way to much like Call of Duty.

 

Halo 4 sucks (don't get me started), personally I perfer Halo 3 since 343 ditched some of my favorite game modes and severs or made them so uncommon. But I buy games for the campaign and story not multiplayer.

 

I liked Reach more. Don't get me wrong here, I love both games, but Reach kept my attention more than Halo 4 did.

 

I prefer Halo: Reach over Halo 4 multiplayer-wise. Especially, since Reach has some classic Halo maps (Sanctuary, Ivory Tower) thrown into matchmaking.

 

Just popped in Reach again today. I had forgotten how fun it is. Halo 4 is fun and all but Reach and Halo 3 was and still is a blast to play.
