    Halo reach on Xbox 1 gamebreakinng bug. Game crashes when loading.


    So i was loading up halo reach and i accedently clicked on the remote function in the xbox glass app and my game froze and started making some horrific screeching then it crashed. Now it wont reopen and about 20 seconds into reach loading it crashes again.

    Do you happen to have an Xbox 360 console to try loading the save on? This will help us determine if the save stored in the cloud may be corrupt.

    Additionally, have you tried
    Factory Restoring your Xbox One console    ? If not, I recommend trying that as well! Be sure to select 'Keep my games & apps'.

    Halo Reach On Xbox one- crashes when loading save

    Hello,

    As suggested I'm posting a new thread on this recurring issue.

    My Halo Reach crashes when loading the save point, right when the "Bungie" logo comes on screen. attempting to restart the game gives a black screen. Only work-around I have for it is to completely delete my local xbox 360 save file. upon reboot, it then
    downloads my cloud data for several minutes and I can play. if I restart the game for some reason or power off the unit, I must repeat the process to make it playable.

    Things I've tried:

    - deleting several profiles stored on xbox one

    - uninstalling and reinstalling the game

    - unplugging and powering up the system again.

    I'm out of ideas and now out of patience for this title on the xbox one. Any ideas feel free to comment. Thank you.

    Hiya BASSL0RD,

    Have you tried a basic power cycle of your console? Hold down the Power button for 5-7 seconds until the console powers down and then wait for the power bricks light to turn a solid orange. Once it does, go ahead and unplug the power cable from the back
    of the console and wait 60 seconds.

    Yep, just tried. It gets to the halo loading screen then it fades to black with @ microsoft 2010 in the bottom right corner, then it freezes there for a couple of seconds and crashes

    MCC Downloaded, but Halo Reach won't Install!

    I have the same problem!! I have bought this game and click the MCC, it launches, I see the "easy anti-cheat" window load, then the opening cinematic plays, it then closes or crashes when the "343 industries" shows
    and the Halo Reach Microsoft app page is opened and says I need to install Halo Reach. But I did install it!!!!!
