    Halo reach on the xbox ons


    Hello,

    I am a huge fan of Halo Reach and I played it for Quite some time now, therefore I wanted to play it on the xbox one with the newly backwards compatibility. Unfortunately every time I put the disc in the console it crashes at the point of seeing the first
    ‘Microsoft corporation’ credits. Does anyone have some ideas Or tips on How to fix this without losing all my progress for buying a new disc.

    license transfer and other accounts

    i switched 360s and transfered the license to the new xbox, but now other accounts cant access my marketplace downloads. such as halo reach, the halo 4 legendary eddition add ons, etc. since i did the license transfer, shouldnt all accounts on my new xbox
    be able to access anything i purchased and downloaded on my previous 360?

    How many consoles do you have include gaming pc and handled

    Currently Own:

    PC - needs an upgrade but runs games at decent settings on Windows 8
    Surface RT
    Nokia Lumia 920
    4x Xbox 360's - 2005 launch console, Halo 3, Halo Reach and Halo 4 consoles.

    Can this game be downloaded? That may be a work around rather than trying to use the disk.

    Hey there Dragonbrother!

    Sorry to hear that you're dealing with this issue trying to get Halo Reach to work on your console. I see that you have tried a couple of troubleshooting steps already, but when you say that you reset the console, do you mean that you tried as outlined in
    our support page entitled
    How to reset your console to factory defaults on Xbox One    ? If you haven't done that yet, I suggest to try and to make the choice to
    reset and keep my games and apps.

    Just make sure that before you try that step, that you have easy access to your internet connection and that you know the login info for any important gamertags you may have on your console.

    If and when you get a chance, try that and let us know if that helped resolve the issue.
