I agree the Reach arena was terrible. I also agree that they need a combination of Halo 3 and Halo Reach matchmaking. The reach matchmaking just doenst seem to work anywhere near as good as the Halo 3 matchmaking. A lot of that has to do with the fact
that your points carry over from the campaign, to firefight, and to the multiplayer. They should have a different rank for each system like in Halo 3. If I am in the shotty sniper playlist I should be a different rank then when I play BTB. This worked VERY
well in Halo 3. This did not work well at all in Reach. They need to dial that in for sure. The matchmaking in Reach just never worked as well as it did in Halo 3 IMO.

There was no matchmaking because ODST used the Halo reach Campaign engine which didn't have matchmaking. So many people didn't get this. And having played Reach Matchmaking on Firefight where people stand in the corner and do nothing, not having Matchmaking
on ODST firefight was a very good thing.
