Halo Reach is always shown as "damaged" when I download it.

I'm French and I live in France, last September I received a code from my aunt but this code was not for my currency (EUR) but CHF.

My account was in Region France so I changed it to Region Switzerland and then I redeemed my code to get the 15 CHF.I was Gold Member and I'm still Gold Member, during that time I was able to download all the free games with gold. But I had a trouble with Halo
Reach, I never managed to download it so I can play it every time I tried the games is shown as damaged in the storage parameters.Few months later I switched back to Region France, during that time I didn't want to play Halo Reach and thought this problem
was a temporary problem with Xbox Live but now i would like to play Halo Reach with my Friends and it's really a problem for me, I tried on so much different consoles with different Hard Drive and it's always the same thing, "Damaged".There were different
games with gold which I "purchased" when I was in Region Switzerland and they perfectly worked.

I've been contacting the support for about 2 weeks and they never managed to help me with that problem.At the beginning I was very enthusiastic and thought that they would find the problem. But to be honest, I'm now fed up with that.

I saw different posts on internet which say that it's due to a region lock.I'm pretty sure that it's my problem.

Halo Reach was "bought" on my account September the 30th 2014.

Can't download Halo Reach after purchasing from Xbox Live Marketplace

I purchased Halo Reach a week ago and I tried to download it today 5 times already but when it reaches 99%, it displays an error "can't download halo reach". Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

 

cannot fully download the game of halo reach.

I have redeemed a code of the game [halo reach] and can see it in my download history.

But the download progress always be stopped by a downloading error.

then i will find a damaged game file (6.6gb) In the storage option.

When i delete the damaged file and try to download again.

the same issue will happen.

What should i do now?

 

Ok halo reach and various other games for gold games are region locked

So if you purchased reach while having a swiss account but did notnlive in swiss that would be why

You needed to match your actual region for most games for gold

Region locked content isnt transferable between regions

Reach was never free only halo 3 was

So in order to download halo you would need to lgoto swiss

The region migration tool isnt meant to be used to be used in that way

It is meant for actual moves

All worked fine except this content.

Niine can help because you purchases it in rhe wrong region

The only time you couldve fixed it was during the time it was free

Halo resvh was never free because i downloaded every game since launch

Halo 3 was free andbwas the only free halo game eith gold

Region locks still apply

You wouldve had to migrate to the correct region and queued the correct regional content to fix the original lock

Stop posting in this thread, I already know that it's a Region Lock, I just want technicians to do the needful so that I can enjoy my game with gold.That's all.

There is nothing anyone can do you used the wrong region in getting the content

If you read the region migration tool faq you cannot download region locked content outside the e intended region

If you had downloaded the correct regional content you wouldnt have the issue

Noone can fix it for you because you queued the wrong content

You couldve created another correct regional account to queue it

Halo is region locked due to certain content controls in certain countries where it is actually banned

The region migration tool isnt a toy to be used

It is meant for actual longterm moves not to bypass international lawd or thr region lock
