Halo Reach disappeared during an update

If you've purchased the game on your account, it should be on your ready to install list. However, I would recommend Checking your Xbox purchase history just to make sure that the game is on your account. If that's the case, then please preform the following steps and check again.

Remove your account:

1. First, please select System > Settings > account > remove accounts and then select your account and select Remove to confirm then re-add your account.
   
2. After doing that, please make sure to sign in using the correct account which contains the game.
   

Power Cycle your console:

1. Turn off your Xbox by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds. The console will turn off.
   
2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.
   

However, if the issue persist, please try to Reset your console: Select System > Settings > System > Console info > Select Reset console > Choose Reset and keep my games and apps.

Note =>The "Reset and Keep my Games and Apps" option will not cause losing your games, but please be aware that you need to be completely aware of the email address as well as the password of your account before going for it because it will require you to sign in to the account.

Firstly I'm sorry you're having this problem.

Please try to carry out the solutions below.

Solution 1:

Go to your console settings, in the general tab click network and internet settings>advanced options>alternative mac address, click clean and restart your console.

Solution 2:

Press the Xbox  button to open the dashboard.

Select Profile & system > Settings > Account > Remove accounts.

Select the account to be removed and then select Remove to confirm.

Restart your console after that, and add your account again.

Solution 3: Try uninstalling Halo MCC completely, and install it again.

No dice, upon reboot and extracting the update to the 360 from a flash drive I got the same message from trying to download a Halo Reach update. Is it possible to update Halo Reach with an update from USB like I did my Xbox? I did all 5 steps, even blowing
into the hard drive sockets during removal...
