    Has anyone experienced a bug in the scoring system for the halo reach campaign?

    Ive started the campaign on legendary, i played through winter contigency and at some point my score stopped going up, even as i got more kills, but if i died it still went down. Then in the sword base mission i would get kills and add points, but as soon as
    i die my score drops to -100 regardless of how many points i had. Then i respawn and got more points, getting my score out of the negative, then i die again and my score drops to -200, and so on, it just adds up my acumulated death score, instead of keeping
    track of my regular score.

    The scoring math isn't explained very well or at all really. When you die you lose all points you have gained from the last checkpoint to where you died and then lose 100 or so because of your death. It stops people from grinding easy areas and sacrificing
    100 points to gain 5000. The other part is once you start going over the par time your score starts getting reduced. You can see this if you have competitive score on. After so much time you will stop earning points all together. This is to stop people from
    just methodically killing everything on the map or abusing the few infinite spawns. The games scoring is working as intended. It just hard to see that because there is no easily accessible information about the campaign scoring.
