Halo Reach 4 player split screen options

Are you after 4 player split screen campaigns, or just 4 player co-op campaigns.

I'm not aware of any 4 player split screen campaigns, but Halo supports 4 player co-op campaigns. You'd have to check each game, but I know Halo 5 and Halo Reach (I'm pretty sure) support 4 player co-op campaign

With this you'll likely need to have accounts set up and ready for each of the controllers to allow the local split screen. I had a similar issue with Terraria where the option to play was context dependant and never appeared, until I had the controller
one and signed in on the appropriate account, at which point Drop in/Out appeared. Let me know if that helps or if you still have issues!

Thanks for the response ThirdDegreePun... all 4 accounts set up (1 parental and 3 child) all linked through Familly on xbox one... can only seem to achieve any form of split screen if the kids go into the 'custom games area' and even then it is only fighting
each other and not any aliens. When they go into 'campaign' a message says max 2 players. I was wondering should I be able to get going some form of 4 player split screen to play the game for real

It ultimately depends on which game you are trying to achieve this on.

For example, Halo 5 does not support split screen at all, Halo Reach (which is backwards compatible) supports 4 player split screen and Forza Motorsport 7 supports local 2 player split screen.

If you could tell us which game you are trying to play with 3 players and how many consoles those 3 players are spread across, that would really help us to help you.

No there is no split screen anymore that I am aware of and that is a big topic of discussion on the Halo forums atm as Halo has long supported split screen but will not be doing so in Halo 5 Guardians. It will have up to 4 player co-op though.
