    Halo:ODST set to release this Friday


    Halo:ODST is set to release this Friday May 29th, free for early adopters of the Halo:MCC

    There is a store page link accessible via a googlesearch which leads to an "Oops what happened to this page" error on the Xbox website. However in the google description of the page you can clearly see that it says DLC for Halo:MCC and the releasedate of 5/29/2015.

    Bungie.net Halo service ending.

    Microsoft forced Bungie to make ODST a full retail release. They were on contract for 2 more Halo games after Halo 3, thus ODST and Reach were born. Bungie wanted ODST to be an expansion game, thus it would be less expensive. Probably $40 rather than $60,
    but Microsoft refused and released it as a full retail release.

    I felt ODST was the weakest Halo campaign released yet and, as such, I've no interest in an ODST 2.

    Well, not enough of it to check the game out at full retail price that is.

    I think that we will get Halo 2 anniversary not long after E3 then Halo 5 at the very end of the year, remember Halo wars and Halo 3 ODST were released in the same year
