Halo ODST got deleted why do I have to buy it?

Hello everyone

When MCC came out, it was not the best and as such 343 gave all who had play MCC a free Halo ODST. ODST has worked fine for a couple of years, however, after some of the recent updates it got deleted and i now have to buy it.

Have anyone else gotten this problem, and if so how did you solve it?

Lost my ODST code

Got a free Halo ODST code years ago from playing the MCC on a friend’s Xbox one. Got the message, but I deleted it since I didn’t have my xbox one yet. Is there any way I can get a new code to get Halo ODST??

I had the code but then , I think I deleted it cuz my xbox broke but I fixed it , can I have a new code , you can check my games I do not have halo ODST thank you , and yes I did buy halo mmc Inot one month of its realise

Sorry to hear it. Please try going to My Games & Apps then Ready to Install and see if it's listed there. If it is not then highlight the MCC from the dashboard and press the Start button on the controller. Select Manage Game then go to Ready to Install
to see if it's listed there for download.

If it is not listed there then perhaps the game was added via a different account.

Even if that was a promotion in the past it may very well have expired and is no longer available. That being said there is no way you would have lost the license for the content once it was acquired. Make sure you are using the exact same account you were
using when the content was acquired. Then you can follow the steps our great Ambassadors team has recommended.
