Halo Nightfall Code Redeemed On Halo Waypoint Still Shows "Buy Nightfall"

This problems been going on since I purchased the Master Chief collection. I've read through a ton of threads and there doesn't seem to be one sure way to fix the problem. Anyways the problem is when I attempt to watch Nightfall through the Master Chief
Collection (which sends me to the Halo Channel), or directly through the Halo Channel App on XBOX ONE it says that I need to purchase Nightfall to watch it. I've already verified this is the same gamertag that Ibused to redeem the code. I've uninstalled the
Halo Channel App, I've uninstalled Nightfall install, I've done numerous hard reboots and even left the power cable off and tried reinstalling everything. Nothing's worked and it's frustrating because I wanna just get the unlocks associated with watching this
film. If I could get some assistance to get this fixed before Halo 5 comes out I would be forever grateful.

halo nightfall won't play

I downloaded halo nightfall through the halo channel and redeemed the code that came with halo the master chief collection. when I go to watch it it still says I need to buy nightfall even though it is downloaded. when I click it it takes me too the xbox
store and says its installed. but going back to the halo channel from there it tells me to buy nightfall.

 

[HALO Master Chief Collection] Unable to access halo - nightfall

Hi,

In the game box I got a code to gave halo nightfall for free.

So I used this code, and it downloaded halo channel and nightfall as well.

But now, when I try to access nightfall from halo channel, it just have the button (for nightfall) "buy now". If I click on this button (to check), I'm redirected to xbox store, for nightfall, and it says "installed".

So, how do I access this content? Anybody has a fix for this?

You are right, it seems to be quite a common problem. I'd reccomend having a read through this thread and looking for some tips that might help you:

If that doesn't work, then I'd post it up on the 343 forums, as it seems to be an issue on their end from what I can see, so not much that can be done from this side

Thanks for the reply. I've literally tried every troubleshooting on that list and none of it's worked. I've gone to the 343 Forum for Halo Channel issues and there's a lot of people with this issue as well. 343 doesn't reply back to anything on there its
really annoying.
