    Halo Multiplayer Performance


    Halo multiplayer via XboxLive has suffered poor performance. Games freeze and restart, the graphics jump and controls register poorly.

    My Xbox360 is wired, Verizon FIOS, Latency 85ms, Upload 22Mbps, Download 55Mbps, no error codes. The issue is inconsistent. HD movies play instantly via Xbox video apps.

    I consider the game unplayable. I find this unacceptable for a major game title with a well known multiplayer community. I've suspended renewal of XboxLive Gold until I can by some means play a normal game of Halo Wargames.

    Who has Halo 3?

    Not me, don't have enough space on my harddrive to fit any games on it. Also Bungie said it hinders the performance of the game. Can't remember if it is better to install the Halo 3 multiplayer disk though. I know Halo 3: ODST it is better to install
    on harddrive.

    I will try to explain again. The Halo Ce multiplayer is Reach Multiplayer. Its the reach multiplayer packaged with Anniversary. The multiplayer is not Halo Ce Anniversary at all. Its 100% Reach multiplayer. So if he is saying he doesnt like the Halo
    Ce Anniversary mp, its the Reach multiplayer. You are actually playing with people that have the Halo reach disk. In other words the Halo CE Anniversary multiplayer IS the reach multiplayer disk. Just like they packaged the Halo 3 multiplayer with ODST.
    This is the exact same thing.

    Reach multiplayer is pretty awful in comparison to Halo 3 imo, i've recently started playing Reach more and it has alot of annoying problems which Halo 3 just didn't have. Halo 3 multiplayer is near perfect.

    The multiplayer is just a direct link to the Halo Reach multiplayer. In fact if you play the multiplayer in Halo Ce Anniversary, it says you are playing Halo Reach. So again, his complaint about Halo 1 being better than Halo anniversary would make no sense
    at all.
