Use your head for a second. Take xbox across the house, hardwire it, download will go much faster. Finish download and take console back to its original spot.

 

@ GG....I use this for my laptop in my bedroom. Caps at 100Mbs, which should be fine for X1. You can spend more to get a better speed.

Halo MCC is awesome despite some issues with achievements and multiplayer. It's what Xbox is well know for... HALO.

Since the game came out on Tuesday, MORE of my friends from Xbox 360 have got an Xbox 1 console. I'm putting up Ytube videos on my channel of the game as well as some of my favourite Ytubers. Achsoft showbiz which came with my Hauppauge HD PVR2 is currently
converting a 30 minute HD video of some gameplay I did about 2 hours ago and then it will Upload it to Ytube. Looks like it won't be on Ytube for another 3 hours though. The only if-y thing is the software which came with my Hauppauge (Archsoft) doesn't allow
me to upload videos more than 15 minutes long. If the video is longer, it automatically gets cut so neither videos are longer than 15 minutes. The time it takes Archsoft to process a 1080p 15 minute video recording takes approximately 50 minutes to create
a compressed file and 50 minutes to upload it, sometimes less. If I pasted the video on the Ytube site and uploaded it that way, it would take at least 3x longer. But at least you can upload videos longer than 15 minutes in one video that way.

O... and has anyone seen the Halo MCC TV Ad 'We will Rock You' which Microsoft made on their Ytube channel? I love the beat and the work they put into it.

4 days later and I'm STILL installing!

I don't know why but if I turn off the console at night, it only downloads 1%! It's done this 3 nights in a row! I left it on for 3 hours this morning and it goes up 6%! That's better, but still hella slow compared to previous game installs...

 

Maybe someone at your home,is pranking you while you're asleep.

MY opinion. Maybe you'll get to play it next week when everyone else is playing GTA V?
...but seriously, if my internet really really really was bad, I'd go with disc... or risk every other pre-ordered download a chance of being re-installed again because it's just super fun! ...or maybe it isn't. Save a
headache. Buy a disc every now and then. (unless you're one of those people who can't stand taking 2 seconds to get up and put the disc in. lol)

When you talked to AT&T support did they have you reboot your modem and router? Did they have you check the DNS settings on your One?

 

@GG - do you have a DL cap?

If you've hit the cap the download is always going to crawl if move at all

Did you move it to a wired connection just to install then move it back?

Are you still playing games whilst downloading?

Are you using a router provided by AT&T? Do they allow you to use your own router?

Most routers provided by ISP's are cheap garbage. If I was gaming off a wireless connection I'd pick up a high end gaming router to boost the signal but it's hard to recommend models, I'm not familiar with AT&T's policies or your specific setup.
