Yeah and one of the best implementations of HDR calibration so far too.

 

^I've only gotten one skull in Halo CE and it unlocked the achievement fine. That's all I got though, haven't played much yet.

 

looking forward to playing soon. never played any of the halo games. the xb1 is my first xbox console.

 

My achievements stopped working halfway through the first game

 

check your online cheivos in smartglass, they may not be popping on the console but may be appearing there, if that is the case then they will pop on the console once the network irons out.

 

I went to bed last night with the download at 20%. I woke up this morning hoping that the download would be almost done and guess what? It was at a whopping 21%!!! What!? No game or download has ever taken this long! Why does it have to do this with Halo!?
I'm actually losing hair over this!

My ONLY consolation is that at 20%, I can see the menus and play virtually all of Halo 4. Which is something I find very odd considering that it's the newest and likely largest game in the series. You'd think that after that's done downloading, everything
else would come much faster due to smaller file sizes, but no! My ISP is going to throttle me? Well, I'm about to throttle them!!! :[

I've had a few achievements not popping for Skulls/Terminals and even Campaign levels not unlocking. Weird thing is when I went on today an achievement for a Skull popped up on screen that I got 3 days ago lol

I'm sure they will pop in the end.

 

Okay, I just finished with AT&T support, which was next to useless. They couldn't help me due to issues on their end (go figure)... However, they did link me to a page with numerous solutions that I haven't tried before. One of which was something that N7
Gh0stz mentioned to me briefly last night on XBL (BTW, you never did send me a link, N7). Still, now that I know more about it, I may try it - it has to do with sending your networking signals through your own AC outlets via a pair of devices, which sounds
like a great way to "cut the cord" as it were. If anybody here has any experience with what I'm talking about, I'd like to hear about it so I know if it's something really worth pursuing.

 

@GG....Is your X1 wireless right now?

 

Yes. It's across the house from my network hub, so using a wired connection makes it rather difficult, despite the fact that I have 2 30-ft. ethernet cables (already in use). Add to that the fact that I live with my mother - she doesn't want us to drill
holes in the walls, or have exposed wiring go all of the way across the house...

 

You better take that Xbox across the house and hardwire it.

 

^My X1 is hard wired... in fact, it's the only thing in our house that still is. You couldn't pay me to go wireless with it.

 

I can't take it across the house because it's ultimately my brother's console and he won't allow it. Furthermore, it's the centerpiece of the household like it's supposed to be so everyone in the family uses it, so it wouldn't make sense to move it into
my room next to the hub where only I would be able to use it (and on a smaller TV, no less). Doing that would admittedly improve performance, but it would be an incredibly selfish thing to do in the process.
