    Halo MCC Won't Install Properly


    I have tried to install Halo MCC on my Xbox One X and it's installing the wrong version number (ver1.1187 instead of the proper ver1.2969) . Any of the troubleshooting techniques aren't helping. While trying to install initially it says it needs an update immediately, and tries to install, like normal, then it for whatever reason, won't. I've tried uninstalling it, several times, and it will try installing itself at later points in time. The game size is also larger than it should be when trying to install (133GB compared to the normal 118GB~127GB from what I have seen on other's consoles).

    • Do you have any external storage units plugged into your console?

    • Are you getting an "Installation stopped" notification when attempting to install the update?

    Halo reach it's a complement for the master chief collection game, it won't give you a option to where to install, will be installed on the game installation path only, in this case Halo MCC game

    Full games like Sea of thieves will give the option because it's a game not a complement

    To those having install issues, do as other have said, make sure to update halo mcc and make sure you have the disc in when installing, the campaign resides under the halo 3 campaign in halo mcc.
