    Halo MCC wont install on Windows 10


    Hello I am trying to install Halo MCC on Windows 10. I had an issue where the game would say "don't have applicable devices" but got around that by hitting install on the web browser ms store. Now the game says install on the store page, but upon clicking
    it, it flashes a download then instantly says the game is installed but it is not and the page just says install and nothing happened. I have tried rebooting and clearing the store cache to no avail. Any more ideas on what to do?

    Do you have the latest version of Windows 10 updated on your PC? This can sometimes cause this error. The latest version should be a November 2019 update Windows 10 1909 (18363.476)

    I do and something I tried just now, I went into the WindowsApps folder, Halo MCCs folder (MSIXVC) and deleted everything inside MSIXVC skipping everything that was in use by system, and Halo MCC downloaded completely. I am assuming the files got corrupted
    and windows store was detecting the game as installed when it was not. I will update if anything else goes wrong.

    I just did a clean install of Windows 10, removing everything and wiping my drive. I tried installing Halo MCC again, this time it downloaded to over 800mb before running into a different error

    Code: 0x803FB107

    Can someone please help me?

    on external macbook hard drive/dual boot) Did you figure any solution to this? i can install other games fine but when i try to install halo mcc it errors out at 4.8%
    Unfortunately the issue is still unresolved. I have the same problem with Halo or any "Administrator approval required for installation" game. It would seem that Apple Mac + Windows 10 + Xbox Game Pass PC = Error 0x8007001f

    Halo MCC Halo 1 freezing and crashing

    The only thing that worked for me was a fresh windows install(you have to install all your games again). I tried every tricks in the book that i know off and the only thing that worked was a fresh windows install. Halo mcc works perfecktly after that.
