    Halo MCC Steam: Multiplayer Disconnects Every Game


    I bought Halo MCC on steam 2 days ago. Every single game multiplayer match I play, it will disconnect and reconnect very briefly for about 10 secs. I've played various game types and it always happens. I have predominately played Halo 3 and it seems to
    occur around 7:10-6:50 time remaining on the match. Please offer solution or refund, because I do not want to continue to play while disconnecting every game.

    it is because its part of the halo MCC, you need the base part which is halo MCC then the individual games so it reserves space for them, halo 1 on pc for instance is 8.58GB and then add on the MCC base game it becomes 30.08GB.

    halo mcc consists of all the games which take 142GB of space on pc so it saves this space aside, when you install hmcc and just one of the games which is also split into multiplayer and campaign it looks like it still reserves the space, this is what i have seen on xbox and gamepass pc, when i install via steam and just choose one of the games to be installed then the space taken is just by mcc and that one game.

    Halo 5: Forge is available, which has some features, and allows you to create maps and play limited multiplayer, but for now that is the extent of its availability on PC. That said, it wouldn't be completely wild to think that they would, at one point,
    put it out on PC either standalone, as an add-on for MCC, or package it into MCC at a later date. For now I'm pretty sure their focus is on Halo: Reach on PC (+ Steam) via the MCC and Halo: Infinite, so I wouldn't hold my breath. Would be nice to round out
    that series and further increase the value of MCC or Xbox Game Pass for PC.

    make sure both microsoft account xbox settings allow multiplayer, be warned halo mcc is a buggy mess with coop at the moment and you will get inconvenient disconnections right before a checkpoint :(

    Since it is an Xbox Exclusive I doubt it will come to steam, that being said, Halo MCC is on steam if im not mistaken
