Halo: MCC Question

Has anyone else noticed that Halo: The MCC's campaigns have occasional framerate stuttering? I can imagine this might be common, since the graphics are so good and the Xbox One is apparently outdated hardware even now.

OP - I've just checked, with regards to question 3...Halo 5 Beta is for ALL Halo MCC purchasers.

It's not a "pre-order" bonus - it's part of the Halo MCC release <period>, so DD will include Halo 5 Beta.

So - the only question left to answer is Q2 - as iBakez said, what pre-order bonus? (Sometimes this is retailer based, hence it could be a "no").

 

If the hardware was outdated, it wouldn't be able run those specs at all (1080p, 60FPS).

I've been hearing a lot about how the Xbox One is already outdated, but keep in mind that was probably in comparison to a PC.

Maybe we could do without the sarcasm.

 

Yes the Xbox one and every other console currently on the market is out dated when compared to PC. But given that it's a closed system, they can actually pull more out of it than a PC of the same spec!

 

Hopefully that will be fix in a pacth. Cause Halo MCC is a mess of bugs and problems. Mulilpayer is a soild 1080p 60fps and 60 where in count in MP. Halo CE has fps dips at point. I know the XB1 hardware can handle it, I think 343 rushed in. Like i said
i hope they fix it a patch.

 

A PC is outdated when you buy it as well. Everything is really in a way. A company is already working on something bigger and better when they release things. IMHO

 

343 only had experience with one game halo 4 server maintenance and that crashed too so im not surprised they cant handle 4 games

 

ive had no problems with the campaigns at all

 

It's funny, I was reading on the eu ps4 forums about this very issue with this game, and a few of the of them on there were wanting to come troll these forum's. Then imagine My surprise when I come on here and this thread has appeared..... Amazing coincidence.

 

Framerate has been smooth for me so far only into Halo CE at the moment. Had a freeze up going from Terminal (Halo Channel) back to game. Only once though.

 

It has made me realise how impressive CE was originally, it is a higher resolution I guess. I was amazed when it first released especially when I saw the almost photo perfect grass after the first chapter. I find myself flicking between versions all the
time. Although they have vastly improved the textures in most places the lighting effects are often better on the original.

It has the occasional framerate hiccup for me but I think they have done a great job looks like a modern game. I think those little bug like flood look a little daft with their little arm like things lol

 

Nevermind, found videos showing the framerate during gameplay, and it seems to match up with my gaming.

 

launch bugs and having paying customers do the testing is why i no longer buy games at launch or pre order...havent bought forza horizon 2 yet, nor assassins creed unity, nor madden 15, nor halo MCC. The gaming industry has gone way downhill imo. When
was the last newly innovative game that came out that wasnt just a rehash number 4/5/6 of something they've already done on the same gaming engine as the last game? Sunset overdrive comes to mind, but alas thats just another shooter just with a faster pace
and we all know first person shooters have been done to DEATH. I'll wait now on everything. Patience will save you time and money.
