    Halo: MCC Multiplayer Not Working On Linux


    Hello, I am on Manjaro Linux and Halo: MCC is running well on it. Unfortunately, I am unable to partake in Season 5 because the multiplayer does not work. The multiplayer does not work because the anticheat, Easy Anti Cheat, does not allow me to connect to servers. I've been a huge halo fan for 18 years, and I would love to be able to play the multiplayer. There are other options available to allow linux players to play with windows players, please consider supporting these options Halo: MCC Multiplayer Not Working On Linux :)

    The rep I spoke with has guaranteed me that this will be fixed thank you so much <3

    it is being intentionally crippled on linux. the game runs absolutely flawless on linux but as you say it is the anti cheat software, easy anti cheat software devs worked with valve to make it work perfectly fine in linux and using proton, other games that use easy anti cheat work fine.

    the problem here is the devs only have to change one configuration file to make it work but they are not doing it for some reason. most likely to keep people hooked onto the windows platform.

    so much for microsofts promise to make things work with linux.

    yes it work flawless but to be able to play properly and online needs the devs to change the config for easy anti cheat.
