Halo: MCC Just Arrived

I would play it, received loads of titles early from Simply games and never had an issue with playing early.

Having pre-ordered Forza Horizon 3 Ultimate Edition, and having played Halo: MCC, I have checked Notifications for the promised "Warthog" Code. It never arrived. Please send the code. Thank you.

343 have done a really good job with the Halo MCC update.

 

Recieved mine this morning and not sure if i should chance it. Probably install it though.

Cheers guys. I've inserted the disc and it's downloading a 15GB update...

I've been reading Halo Waypoint forums and there is a lot of threads on there saying there's loads of people playing it now and saying they won't be banned if they got it from a store... So yeah, a game I bought happened to be delivered early. Destiny also
arrived on a Saturday, but I had to wait til the Monday when the servers went live to play that... But I'm going to play Halo. It's not my fault SimplyGames didn't send it attached to a snail.

I've also redeemed the code for the 'Halo Channel and Nightfall Bundle' -- So they can see I got the game from a store.

 

I've been enjoying mine since it came this morning.

The original "HALO" was nothing more than a competent shooter thrust into the hands of a mass market that gobbled it up as if it was the first time they'd been presented with air.

So the first "HALO" is going to be more about nostalgia rather than cutting edge game play because you can feel the title's age despite the Next Gen touch up.

That being said, it's still very playable and I'm sure as you advance in Halo Titles it just gets better and better.

I know that I really missed "HALO 4" when the ONE launched so it will be great to have it back.

Amusingly with the first HALO is the getting re-aquainted with the slightly different way they controlled things...

I keep pulling LT to aim down the sights, only to throw a grenade at nobody... and running up to someone wanting to smack them and hitting RB only to watch it reload.

So the game should be as good as people are expecting. With over 100 MP Maps out the box how could you possibly go wrong?

The only thing you'll have to worry about is once you've installed the disc... you've got a 15GB Update to download. Didn't take me too long but then I was doing it on a Saturday morning in the UK. Hardly primetime for broadband traffic while the US sleeps
but it's going to be a pain for some.

 

Cheers Az, I'm on the Main Menu now, watching the percentage of each games' installation. So I'll be playing through them all in order when they all finish - Taking my time of course, not rushing through them.

 

Why anyone would worry who ordered a game from a shop and got it delivered and played it. They cant ban you think about it....Some people just like to be the centre of attention

 

Nothing about being the centre of attention,perhaps you should read the code of conduct,they can ban you but chances are they wont.

 

Look stop scaremongering you [Mod removed] if you purchase a game legit and play it you will not be banned end of story. If you want to act like your 5 then go right ahead

Since when was playing a game bought from an official Xbox game retailer classed as playing an unauthorised for play game. Do you have something wrong with you? Are you just the kinda guy who makes a mountin out of a molehill about everything.....you really

All this thread is about a few half wits wanting to tell everyone they got there copy of Halo early without actually saying such....its attention seeking, obvious and really really pathetic. Some even making out they might not risk installing it..........................
