    Halo MCC issues on campaign and matchmaking


    I have contacted xbox to help me try to resolve the problems and they forward me to this forum. I bought the Masterchief edition yesterday and tried multiple times to play campaign. Well everytime i play the game glitches and either freezes or stops working.
    When i am on Multiplayer i try go to matchmaking and it acts like im gonna play but then says game ended. I bought this on the online store. My gamertag is and email is [Mod Removed] can someone please help me. I don't mean to be hateful or
    anything but i feel like i bought a game that don't work and bought 3 month xbox live for nothing because i just wanted to play this game.

    Halo 3: ODST to release 29/05/2015

    To those having install issues, do as other have said, make sure to update halo mcc and make sure you have the disc in when installing, the campaign resides under the halo 3 campaign in halo mcc.

    I agree. The original Halo MCC had huge load times, many freezes, failing saves on campaign, laggy games, and another monsoon of issues! The halo mcc insider is a masterpiece already and it’s just pre-release content! Keep it up 343i.

    Sorry to hear it. The full game is a 60GB download. Has it completely finished downloading for you yet?

    If it has then try holding the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts down. If that doesn't solve the issue you may need to delete the game and redownload it.

    Dragon Age: Inquisition or Master Chief Collection?

    Both are great choices. Personally, if you already played the Halo campaigns that are offered with the MCC, I would go with the new experience, Dragon Age. Halo MCC is having some problems with its multiplayer services. Examples would be matchmaking takes
    about 10+ minutes to find a game. That would be my opinion and of course the choice is yours :)

    Halo 4 (Xbox 360 Version) not purchasable/downloadable from Xbox Microsoft Store.

    Sure isn’t the case for Halo 3. On my HDD right now and yes, the 360 version, on my One S. I know the servers for matchmaking got shut down for many if not all of the Halo Legacy Titles except for MCC, but that should not affect their Campaigns’ playability. Have yet to try Reach. Disappointing.
