Halo: MCC Is Golden

I suspect not. The money they will make from the yay-sayers will probably make them scoff at the nay-sayers. Just my opinion, but I think it holds.

 

I cannot wait for this, but I am not getting digital because my friend doesn't want it so I will be picking up the disc version. The thoughts of waiting around to download the 20GB update is killing me.

 

Waiting for the download is only temporary. Having to get up to put the disc in is forever.

 

Yes but, me and my friends usually download the games together as we go halves on it and share it on each others xbox. He does not want Halo because he is not interested in it so I will pick up the disc.

 

I've always been keen on this (very keen), but a recent conversation with CollapseControl made me want this so bad! I can't believe the things they're doing, goes so far beyond the 'HD remake'

Gimme now!

 

I truly believe M.S. will make some serious coin on Halo M.C.C., maybe even be the best selling game yet on the X1; I do believe their profits could have been epic if they just included a second disc. Why put off people with limited bandwidth and data caps?

I'll probably still buy it for the campaign/pad my gamerscore a little, though I see the game getting annoying if it keeps prompting me to update or go offline just to play it; and if that's the case, it will be sold back to Gamestop within a couple weeks.

Now if it was Fallout 4...well then I could see burning though my 150Gb cap. ;-)

Microsoft could have just thrown another disc in the case and kept the majority (Of disc buyers that is! Lol.) happy.

You cant just say hey lets put another disc in reasons are..... 343i said at the start 100 maps 4 games on ONE disc.....Also it would cost 343i more money for the extra discs that aint needed. I am going physical and the 20GB patch doesnt bother me

 

i agree n7except 20gb will cap me, hopefully i wont have to dl anything again xD

You really should take in what you read. If 343i said that, then they lied. As the Multiplayer Content is added via the update, not on ONE Disc

It's not about cutting corners, or saving disc Space, No it wouldn't be for 343i, as they are not the people that are paying for the publishing of the game, That is Microsofts side of the bargin, Being
the Publisher. They pay for Manufacturing and Marketing. As they own their own servers, and Xbox Live, Why do you honestly think they went down the 20GB day one add on route. No other reason that to save Moeny.

When did having two discs really bother anyone on the 360 last generation, when new games were coming out, and it is now regular to see big games have 2 discs. It should have been no different in this
situation. Especially as everything is installed to HD, and no real disc swapping is needed.

 

I'm glad I ordered a 1TB external for the needed space.
