    Halo MCC Insider: Change default account email on Windows 10?


    My Microsfot/Xbox account is from an old email I made 10 years ago. Now I always use my Gmail account. I now setup all of my devices to use my Gmail account. For some reason on some services, I have to login directly with my old MS email to get the right access, using my Gmail won't work.

    I an email saying I can try out MCC Halo 2, but since my PC uses my Gmail account...the Halo MCC Insider app hangs and doesn't allow me to install the content. Is there a way to switch my PC's primary email account? Not saying this is 100% the issue, but I think it's pretty likely.

    Halo MCC wont install on Windows 10

    Do you have the latest version of Windows 10 updated on your PC? This can sometimes cause this error. The latest version should be a November 2019 update Windows 10 1909 (18363.476)
    I do and something I tried just now, I went into the WindowsApps folder, Halo MCCs folder (MSIXVC) and deleted everything inside MSIXVC skipping everything that was in use by system, and Halo MCC downloaded completely. I am assuming the files got corrupted
    and windows store was detecting the game as installed when it was not. I will update if anything else goes wrong.
