    Halo MCC: halo channel navigation issues


    I've been trying to watch the second episode of Nightfall and, like most others, have been running into some kind of issues. Unlike others, my problem isn't that a "buy halo" message appears, but rather that some other video will start playing when I select
    the second episode of nightfall. More specifically, the loading video for halo nightfall will start and then be cut in with some other video , with the halofest coverage being the most common. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, and followed
    the steps listed in the other post, but still encpunter this error. Can anyone help? Has anyone else run into this problem? I'm forgiving on storytelling and CGI and was really looking forward to watching the next chapter of this story.

    Can't watch "Nightfall"

    So, I purchased MCC digitally. Game, Halo Channel, and NIghtfall downloaded. However, when I try to play the 1st episode of Nightfall, it takes me to the Halo Channel and says I need to buy MCC. I did already! I deleted and reinstalled hallo channel
    and Nightfall.

    Anyone else having similar issues?

    DLC mechanics in the works for Halo: MCC, then?

    Probably good for the franchise, though I hope they can clean up the multiple menu navigations before adding more Halo material to the collection. Halo MCC: halo channel navigation issues :)

    And it is now working... Regardless, I'd like to know how to fix this problem so that I'm not stuck randomly flicking through videos for hours at a time like I did tonight

    Now that I've finished watching the episode, another problem appeared. I wasn't able to watch the side stories. They were unlocked, and no message appeared when I selected them, rather, all that happened was that the sound that is made when a video is selected
    was heard, and the side stories bar was selected, rather than the individual side story that I had just selected

    No Halo Waypoint on Xbox one.

    But there will be Halo Channel,a big app that will cover games,stats,Halo events and more and more.....

    I guess it will start with the release of Halo MCC....

    Hey there C4PTAN W1NKY!

    Since the issue that you are experiencing appears to be different, I recommend creating a new thread. This way you can receive support specifically tailored to you. Be sure to include the details of the issue as well as any troubleshooting steps that you have
    tried. In the meantime, try the following steps:

    • Navigate to My games & apps from the homepage of your Xbox One console.
    • Select the Apps tab and then navigate to the Halo Channel app.
    • Press the Menu button and select Manage app.
    • Select Uninstall.
    • Once the Halo Channel has uninstalled, press and hold the power button for 10 seconds.
    • Once your console is powered off, unplug the power cord.
    • Wait 5 minutes and then plug in your console.
    • Power on your console and navigate to My games & apps.
    • While in the apps tab, scroll to the right and select The Halo Channel under the section labeled READY TO INSTALL. Select Install.
    • Once The Halo Channel app has installed, navigate to My Games & apps and select the Halo Channel.
    • Under the Featured tab, select Play.
