Halo MCC for PC (Xbox Game Pass) Plays at increased speed

Hello, I've recently downloaded the MCC for PC through the xbox app using game pass, and have been playing through all of the campaigns. However, particularly for Halo 3 & 4, the game appears to run at a dramatically increased rate. 1.5x-2x or so. All animations
play faster, the game mechanics happen faster, etc. Everything is sped up, except for the audio which plays at a normal speed, but will be out of sync with animations - as their animations are playing faster than the audio is. When the cue in the animations
/ camera change triggers the next line they'll just skip what they haven't said yet and move on past it to the next line of audio.

It makes the game unplayable because of how dramatically faster everything is happening, and completely changes the feel of the game. My computer or graphics card or something must be to blame, but I don't know a lot about PC's or PC gaming to be able to
troubleshoot this myself. From my ignorant position, it seems like my computer is using it's overhead (ability to run the game beyond 60fps, which I have it capped to) to just proceed to run the game at an increased speed - which seems to fluctuate a little
bit between periods of near-normal speed and nearly twice what I would describe as normal. I have no idea how to get it to stop doing this, or what the next recommended troubleshooting steps would be.

I'm not really interested in playing multiplayer for the time being, this is purely a campaign issue - and one that didn't seem to appear for halo 1 & 2 remastered when I played them before, but I haven't tried launching them again since I ran into problems
with Halo 3 & 4, so it could be related to the entire MCC or just these couple components.

Halo 5: Forge is available, which has some features, and allows you to create maps and play limited multiplayer, but for now that is the extent of its availability on PC. That said, it wouldn't be completely wild to think that they would, at one point,
put it out on PC either standalone, as an add-on for MCC, or package it into MCC at a later date. For now I'm pretty sure their focus is on Halo: Reach on PC (+ Steam) via the MCC and Halo: Infinite, so I wouldn't hold my breath. Would be nice to round out
that series and further increase the value of MCC or Xbox Game Pass for PC.

Changing the frame rate to unlimited appears to have fixed the issue. Monitor is only 60hz but it does slow down the game to normal speed this way so works for the time being

Halo MCC is not a Xbox Play Anywhere title, so you would need to buy the game on PC or subscribe to Xbox Game Pass PC.

Game pass is definitely the best bang for your buck. One thing to note, if you get Game Pass Ultimate and play MCC on PC, then right now for PC only Halo Reach and Halo 1 are available. They will be rolling out the rest in time but they are doing it one
game at a time on the PC. For Xbox you get all the games right away.

ok i was the only guy thinking that we can play all the game of the game pass on pc but did a halo game are on pc?

Right now both Halo wars are available in the play anywhere list on PC. Halo: MCC has been officially announced for PC so it may be added to the play anywhere list once available, but it is just speculation
