Halo MCC File formation

So I install the 133,6GB Halo MCC on my pc and the accidentally uninstalled the app. I downloaded a file recovery app and got all the files back but they were not in folders. I can't play the game because they are not in files and in the wrong destination. How do I reorganise all the files to the right location or do I have to manually create and move each file to a folder(if so what are the folders names and where should all the files go?)?

if you got the game via windows store/xbox app, then you can't, you will have to redownload the lot as it is locked behind an encrypted folder and you cannot access that folder without breaking the encryption.

What you are trying to do is not going to work. Microsoft Store app files are encrypted. Unfortunately, you will have to reinstall the game using the Microsoft Store.

does on xbox a lot of the time, but i have had it happen with forza 3 and 4 on pc and halo mcc, so i gave up and bought on steam as steam can verify files and i never get a failed update.

It doesnt help that alot of the games are in vxd format (virtual xbox disc) and basically is an image.

but i think halo mcc is just files but in the encrypted folders, i dont think windows can verify the files if the update fails.

Halo reach requires Halo MCC if you have already installed halo MCC you need to install on the same storage device, you can format the device following the steps here

Right-click on the partition on your SD card which you want to format, then select the “Format” option from the context menu.

Thanks. I have 3 games COD: AW, Halo MCC and GTA V. COD is on disc and the file is smaller (46 GB) the others are download and they're about 60 GB
