Halo MCC download issue?

    Halo MCC download issue?


    Just popped in the disk to download, and while I was playing Halo:CE waiting for the entire disk to download, the game started freaking out. It froze about five minutes into the campaign and then said "Installation stopped". The the whole Xbox started freaking
    out on me. I backed out to my dashboard and every five seconds the alert saying "installation stopped" would pop up, and twice an alert that I was not connected to Xbox Live. Then it wouldn't let me turn off my console, it just froze on a dimmed screen...
    It's letting me play now, and it's started downloading again, but if it stops again what can I do to get it started again? Anyone else have this issue?

    I'd try a hard reset. Hold down the xbox power button for ten seconds. Wait until the power brick light turns orange then turn your Xbox back on.

    Don't worry though, once it is installed you get to go through the 16 gig patch.

    and it doesn't matter what internet speed you have atm.

    I had a similar issue. Mine downloaded to 82% and then got the alert Download Stopped. I played Halo CE thru level 2 then froze. Tried hard reset, reconnected wireless internet nothing works. Can't play or complete download. Any suggestions?

    No games will install whatsoever. I get no error message, it simply just doesn't try to install at all. I have the basic Game Pass subscription for PC.

    I'm having the same issue! I can't start Master Chief Collection after the Halo 2 update. I uninstalled MCC and now I can't even reinstall MCC! other games seem to be fine starting the download but none of the Halo games work anymore.

    Don't worry though, once it is installed you get to go through the 16 gig patch.

    and it doesn't matter what internet speed you have atm.

    I live in Canada and have been having the same issue. Been trying to download the Halo: MCC update, highest it's managed to get was 3%.
