    Halo : MCC doesn't launch


    So I've been searching the internet far and wide, even uninstalled the game and this **** doesn't work. It's actually unbelievable because I searched the forums and have found topics dating back several years and Microsoft has still not even fixed this annoying issue? I literally paid for the game pass, installed the collection for like 6 hours not to be able to play it. Unbelievable.

    Whenever I try to laucn the game the user account control asks me if I'll allow installations from Microsoft Windows, I click yes and then the blue window pop up just says "Can't launch this app" and prompts me to the store where it says if I want to uninstall?

    Hi Chaosinsurgents! My name is Ricardo an independent advisor ready to help you with this situation!

    Instead of trying to launch from the app or store, instead search for Halo: The Master Chief Collection in your search box from the Start Menu. This should pull up a couple of options for you, which you can then choose from.

    You’ll want to select the first option, which launches the game with Easy Anticheat activated.

    Thanks for the reply.

    I've tried this as well but unfortunately to no avail. Same thing happens when I launch it via start or if I create a desktop shortcut.

    Maybe it has something to do with this? Everytime when I try to launch the game User Account Control pops up asking me if I'm allowing the app "Installation program for Microsoft Store package" to do changes on the device. And when I click yes it just says that it won't open the app.

    Halo MCC. What a disaster of a launch. As a long time Halo fan it was a real let down.

    I also note that in my gamertag, the most recent games played reflect only XB360 titles (I installed and launched Borderlands and installed and played Peggle), but the tag doesn't reflect Halo: MCC or SW Battlefront.
