    i own a Halo MCC disc for my xbox, i want to know if i have to repurchase to get the digital edition for the new xbox one series s or if i can activate my copy to be digital somehow

    SW Battlefront is a disc. Borderlands, Peggle, and Halo: MCC are digital (Borderlands is a disc, but because it's X360 backward compatible, it's a digital download with the disc as "proof of ownership").

    The main tile is usually the most recently used app/game so it shouldn't be showing Halo MCC if you haven't used it. Although, I have seen the main tile change to the game that is in the disc drive previously but as I generally use digital games this doesn't
    happen often.

    You need to purchase it directly on xbox. Currently no way to make a disc digital. Although, would be a great idea!

    Not sure if your aware, I'm sure it's just an overlooked aspect, but in the MS description for the digital download of the MCC it states that a disc is required for the Halo 5 guardians Beta...kinda funny if true since they were pushing all digital from
    the beginning and now u need a physical disc to play their premiere game...We'll see...
