Halo: MCC [Digital Copy] freezing issue

Having just completed the digital install for Halo: The Master Chief Collection, once I launch the game and am greeted with the very first start menu, regardless of whatever button I press, the game immediately crashes, freezing up and forcing the Xbox to
quit the launch and return me to the home menu. It happens every single time I launch the game and see no solution to this problem at all, can anyone help me out here?

Halo: MCC [disc] freezes.

So, I've seen an earlier post about the digital copy of Halo: MCC freezing, but my problem's the following.

I've bought Halo: MCC in the store as disc version and have it installed onto an external HDD. After a certain time (maybe roughly 2 or 3 hours) of playing the Halo: CE campaign the game just freezes and it's annoying, could it be because it's installed on
an external HDD?

 

Quick question about digital copies

I purchased the Xbox One Halo MCC bundle from walmart yesterday and just now found out the MCC is a digital copy. My download speed is roughly 10Mbit/s, and the digital copy is 60gb, so I'll obviously be downloading it for a couple days most likely.

My question is, can I play a physical game (IE. Dragon Age) WHILE downloading MCC from the marketplace?

And one more question I just thought of, I recall that you can play a game while it downloads, but just how does that work? Like for MCC, could I play the entire Halo 1 when that part is done downloading while 2, 3, and 4 are still downloading?

 

*because it won't let me edit the message, pressing start to proceed, or even A, causes the game to freeze and force a launch exit

 

I am having the same issue. Can't play it anymore.

 

Having this issue on every one of my games. Most are disk based. Have tried all the suggested fixes I could find.

 

I can't seem to find a solution to this and its really annoying. Being so hyped for this game, having played them all since the beginning, and then this issue just comes out of nowhere and ruins my life. I'm currently reinstalling and leaving it alone until
its 100% done, and the download takes forever, and see what that does. But it bugs me that I could just pick up a physical copy from somewhere but obviously I won't do that as I've already purchased it from the Xbox store.
