halo mcc crashing & glitching

so i havent hardly been able to play MCC in months because everytime i try to it takes forever to load up or it doenst and brings me back to the dashboard. and then when i am able to play im lucky if i get to play for 5 min before it starts to glitch/freeze,
audio distortion and then eventually just completely crash my xbox to total shutdown (im playing this on my Xbox One X). it is plugged into a wall outlet, not a surge protector, i do have most of my games installed on 2 external HDD's a 4TB and a 8TB. ive
cleared my cache, deleted my profile, redownloaded it, soft reset my xbox. nothing makes Halo MCC function properly. this is the only game that gives me an issue out of all 550 games i own.

Hello Jeremy,

Thanks for coming to the forums. We recommend trying to install it on the internal Drive. Sometimes games act funny when installed on an external. This could be true with the collection as it is many games in one. Let us know how it turns out.

I tried it, nothing changed. Still had the picture glitch and can't play games online and MCC crashes when syncing data.

The did everything under the sun it’s still crashing but only with halo infinite I can play MCC all day

Yep! Did all that. That's why I'm here.

Update: only Halo 2 and Halo CE Anniversary crash, Halo Reach just goes back to the Halo MCC splash page.

Halo 3, ODST and 4 run fine.
