    Halo MCC - Content Installing


    I installed Halo Master Chief Collection a few days ago on my computer. All the files are downloaded to my knowledge from my app settings and the Microsoft Store. Whenever I open the game and get the prompt "Press enter to start" after I push enter there
    is a popup that says

    "Content Installing: Unable to continue, the content is currently installing"

    The game is clearly installed. I wonder if it may have been a problem with installing Halo Reach. When I opened the program first it gave me an option to install Reach as an expansion but it only ever downloaded a file that was 10 mbs big. I imagine
    the game itself is a lot bigger.

    I'd be grateful for any help currently my game is unplayable.

    These 2 games are DLC's for Halo MCC, you have to purchase and install Halo MCC to be able to access this content in-game.

    I've had something similar happen myself and was going to suggest the same thing which it seems fixed your issue. At least now you know for future issues in case it happens again. Enjoy the game and happy gaming!

    • Known Issue: Users unable to launch the game through the Xbox (Beta) app on PC.
    • Workaround: If you are looking to play on Windows 10, you'll need to launch the game by clicking on Windows icon (Start Menu) and then manually locate Halo: The Master Chief Collection in your list of installed apps or search for it
      by clicking on the magnifying glass icon.
