    Halo MCC Completely shuts down Series X


    I've posted an error report as well but thought I would bring the attention here as well. Upon starting up Halo MCC it gets to the loading screen with "Halo" in the bottom right before the power light on the Xbox flashes quickly a few times then completely shuts down. Happens every single time.

    I picked up Xbox One X in Sep'18 and I am enjoying Halo MCC with Gamepass. I had played Halo 1 and Halo 2 way back on my PC. Other is Gear of War Series, I completed Gears of War 4 on PC and now I was able to complete the series via Gamepass.

    I’m having the same problem with my Series X and Halo. Sometimes just the game crashes, sometimes the entire console shuts down. I have tried all of the above suggestions and it still happens.

    I purchased the Series X specifically for Halo. Very frustrating.

    the xbox 360 version on xbox one can cross play with the 360 but halo mcc or gardians then no. be warned though that the 360 versions of halo will have there servers shut down next december.

    Thank you for your response XBF. I already checked to see that the gamertag and email that was on my Xbox console matched the one that was on my Xbox app. However, when you say that Halo MCC is available on Xbox One and Series X does that mean that even though it does not work on the app if I sign on another Xbox One or get my own Series X the game will appear? I hope this is the case as I can live with MCC being on console alone, but if it does not appear when I upgrade to Series X then I'm going to have a problem. Is there another library other than the app I can use to confirm the presence of Halo MCC among my owned games.
